Salary: £100,000 - £120,000 Per Annum (+ bonus & benefits )

Our client is an ambitious and high growth payments company, focused on the high & medium risk markets across the world. This role is focused on driving acquiring volume through the platform, closing new business deals and ensuring our growth targets are achieved.
You will inherit a team of 2 x BDM's (both fully remote, UK & EU). You will also be tasked with scaling the team, with a further 2 x hires planned for Q1 '24. As the Sales Director, you will both plan the strategy for sales & deliver sales personally, carrying both an individual & a team target.
The role:
· Develop and execute sales strategy to achieve target.
· Identify opportunities for new business development and close new logo customers, building acquiring volume and filling your sales pipeline.
· Manage, lead, set targets for, motivate, monitor & train/develop your BDM colleagues, assisting them close larger deals or opening doors for them whenever you can.
· Develop a rigorous knowledge of the high risk payments space and share best practice across the company.
· Use your experience of acquiring, alternative payments and other payment rails to help position our marketing, events attendance and collateral correctly.
About you:
You are likely to be able to demonstrate:
· Minimum of 5+ years senior sales / sales leadership experience.
· Experience of winning new business in the high risk payments space & increasing volumes across all verticals.
· Able to deal with start-up/scale-up environments, building teams in a busy and fast paced environment.
· Excellent sales approach, able to build a balanced pipeline of opportunities & using your knowledge and experience to grow our acquiring volume.
· Proven track record of business development, with 360 sales experience and ability to organise and prioritise activities effectively to maintain relevant pipeline.
· Experience of building, leading, inspiring, and motivating a sales team.
