Job Description

EMV Consultant

• Monitor all data processing and investigate and report issues if problems occur.
• Investigate any data related issues reported via customers, account management, bureau or IT.
• Perform manual data processing activities using tools and processes as required.
• Update matrixes and other lookup tables supplied by clients.
• Create, amend and implement letter setups using Microsoft Word and other software.
• Perform ad-hoc administrative functions such as manual label creation and data entry.
• Complete all necessary paperwork, reports and analysis required in the execution of the above.
• Be responsible for personal time management where applicable to ensure project requirements and deadlines are met.
• Ability to plan, organise, and prioritize work. Responding to changing needs and balance competing priorities.
• Train and direct others, present reports, proposals, and other information in public forum w/vendors, internal staff, and customers.
• Foster and support openness and responsibility for the department and its role within the organisation.
• To comply with and promote both organisational and customer security policies. Suggest improvements and report suspected or proven breaches to first line management or the CISO.
• To treat as confidential any information made available during the execution of duties on behalf of the company and to take all reasonable measure to ensure that no confidential information is divulged to any third party.
• To take all necessary steps to ensure duplication of data by CPI processing software or processes is prevented.
• To take all necessary steps to ensure quality of data and its accuracy to business, data protection and customer requirements.
• Adherence to CPI processes and procedures in the carrying out of all duties.
• Adhere to data protection legislation and company data security policies and codes of ethics.
• Implementation of Affina (EMV) profiles.
• Logical Key Management for card usage and personalisation.
• Configuration and implementation of CPV/VPA submissions including creation of test cards.
• Adherence to chip manufacturer and VISA/Mastercard EMV specifications.

Technical Requirements

• Three years of systems analysis and design experience.
• Three years .NET (C#) experience, preferably with VB and in developing using JavaScript.
• Technical writing proficiency.
• Experience supporting smartcard implementations preferred.
• Affina EMV software application and key management understanding.
• High Security Module (HSM) understanding.
• Knowledge of Chip manufacturer and VISA/Mastercard EMV specifications.
• Knowledge of CPV/VPA submissions configuration and implementations.
• Word document mail merges including layout & formatting.
• Ability to use SQL Server database commands and scripting.
• Ability to use File transfer applications such as ‘Globalscape’ SFTP.
