The Company

SSP is a world-wide retail catering company with operations in 30 countries and employing over 35,000 people. In the UK, we employ c 10,000 and have around 700 units that are based at Railway Stations and Airports. Due to an internal promotion, we are now looking for a full time EPOS Administrator to work at our Head Office at Euston.

The Role

The EPOS Administrator will ensure the tills in company are programmed with relevant data, as per received details on requests and within given deadlines, in order for units to be able to process and report their sales.

Main duties include working on the current systems:

  • Micros till system
  • MyMicros Reporting System
  • Iceberg (workflow website)
  • Footprint (Service Desk Ticketing System)

The Details

The successful candidates will have the following attributes:

Essential:

  • Excellent organisational skills
  • Ability to communicate in writing and over the telephone
  • Able to prioritise workload depending on business requirements
  • Good knowledge Microsoft Excel
  • High level of attention to detail
  • Ability to work within a team and on own initiative
  • Flexible within the business hours
  • Ensuring all aspects of role are carried out in accordance with SLA's

Desirable:

  • Knowledge of other Microsoft Office applications
  • Knowledge of Lynx
  • Knowledge of Micros Enterprise Management
  • Knowledge of Access or SQL databases
