Accounts Payable Administrator - BACS/CHAPS, AP Process
Chelmsford - 6 Month Contract
Up to £110 p/d

Purpose

An opportunity exists for the appointment of an experienced individual to assist the Accounts Payable manager in the development and implementation of a centralised invoice management process.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and map the new centralised process
  • Responsibility for project timeline, including setting timetable and ensuring that key milestones are achieved
  • Responsible for weekly project reporting to include KPI and RAG ratings
  • Act as main internal and external contact, ensuring the business and suppliers are bought into the process
  • Provide training and support to AP team members on the new process
  • Assist the Accounts Payable manager as required

Requirements and Experience

This role is ideally suited to someone who can demonstrate:

  • At least 2 years Accounts Payable experience
  • Understanding of end to end AP processes
  • Excellent organisational skills
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Excellent communication skills
  • A flexible and adaptable approach
  • Build rapport internally and externally
  • Ability to work efficiently as part of a team or individually
  • Client and delivery focussed
