Business Development Director - IT Services
Our client is a leading payments technology company, working on cutting-edge IT products and services within the payments sector. Partnering with major global financial institutions, they develop the most innovative technology to allow their customers to thrive in a competitive market. One of their many USP's is the depth of payments subject matter expertise within the business.

To help continue our growth & success, we are keen to hire a successful IT services sales leader to fill a role as our Business Development Director. This role, which is a target carrying individual contributor position, will take responsibility for the organic growth of existing clients, as well as new business development opportunities within tier 1 & 2 financial institutions/banks.

Your main role & responsibilities:
• building a pipeline of tier 1 & 2 banking/FI opportunities, with regards to IT services
• becoming an evangelist of our service capabilities - from thought leadership to architectural services, payments services to program delivery.
• creating and refreshing preferred supplier relationships with existing & new clients
• being an active networker & ensuring our invitations to RFI's, RFP's ITT's etc.
• maintaining relationships with senior decision makers (often C-level) within target customers, positioning our company as a fantastic alternative to incumbent SI's
You are likely to be successful in this role if you can demonstrate:
• track record of success in developing new and growing existing IT services engagements within FI's/banks
• as an experienced IT services sales professional, you will know how to navigate procurement cycles, utilising your background of consulting & delivery services within FI's
• evidence of winning and developing services business, with a blend of opportunities for the short, medium & long terms
• strong commercial awareness, with the ability to influence utilising your gravitas, consultative sales style and depth of knowledge of complex IT services within financial services
