Fire Financial Services provides digital accounts and debit cards to business and personal customers in the UK and the Republic of Ireland supporting sterling and euro bank transfers, a MasterCard debit card and an API that enables integration from customer’s systems to the data in their Fire account. With a new office opening in London, we are looking to expand our team.
As a member of the fire.com team you will be contributing to the development of a new and innovative fintech digital account – changing the way people and businesses pay and are paid.
We're looking for two Business Development Executives to help us sign up more business customers and grow our revenue.
Working closely with the Head of Product, CEO and stakeholders from across the company, you will be responsible for growing our revenue by signing up (loads of) UK and ROI based business customers to use the fire.com business account. You will identify, develop and build relationships with a broad range of potential partners to generate leads, which you will close. Your key success metric will be the revenue earned from businesses you've signed up.

You'll need to prove your ability to:
• Initiate business relationships and develop channel referrals
• Close deals and meet revenue targets
You should have the following:
• 3+ years' experience in a financial services environment doing sales or business development
• A degree in something - Mathematics, Business, Music, Art – we don’t mind
• Total commitment to keeping your CRM up to date
• You're a great presenter and communicator
It'd be great if you also have experience with:
• Both the personal fire.com app (available in the app stores) and the Fire Business Account (hint – you can sign up for a free sole trader account at fire.com/business)
• European payments regulation – particularly the PSD2, the Regulatory Technical Standards (PDF) and maybe a view on Open Banking in the UK
• The fintech ecosystem and all its relevant players
