Job Description

(BN281) Business Development Manager - Affiliate/Partner
Location: London
Type: Permanent
Salary: £40,000 - £100,000 Per Annum (+ excellent benefits )

Our client is an ambitious subscription-based loyalty & rewards business, based in London.

We are keen to hire a Business Development Manager to join our busy London office and help us scale our business as we grow by linking us to new partners who can up/cross-sell our product on our behalf. We have exciting international growth plans and we need a very switched on Business Developer to help us continue our growth.

Reporting to the UK Commercial Director, the Business Development Manager will be responsible for the introduction of new partners who will sell our product to their customer base. We offer very attractive commercial deals to partners (who include large retailers, e-commerce merchants, travel companies etc) for promoting our fantastic product to their own customers.

Ideally, with a network in the retail/e-commerce space, you will utilise your sales experience to generate interest from potential partners, who can advertise our product via a banner advert on their checkout page or through telesales via their staff from call centres. This is a full 360 sales role, from lead generation to meeting, presenting, closing, negotiating & then account managing moving forward.

The best applicants will have:

Experience of bringing new affiliate partners to the table who can promote an industry-leading product to their customer base
A highly sales focused mindset, creative and able to present our offering concisely
A get-things-done attitude, highly motivated & pro-active, able to make decisions
A track record of sales success gained in a targeted affiliate/partnership/channel marketing sales environment

And be:

A confident and concise communicator, extremely well organised & passionate
Fun to work with (which means many things, but esp. sharp, positive and open)
A strong account manager, who is strengthening the client relationship all the time
A multi-tasker who can work on multiple opportunities simultaneously, ensuring a good business mix is consistently in their sales pipeline
