A well known market leader in global payments and Dynamic Currency Conversion is looking for a new Business Development Manager to join their London team.

They are a market leader in Dynamic Currency Conversion (DCC) providing solutions to over 70,000 merchants together with over 35 acquiring banks worldwide.

Business Development Manager - Payments -DCC

Role Purpose

Developing and maintaining a strong pipeline of opportunity to meet with sales and revenue targets and to work effectively in a collaborative manner with other sales specialists and Regional Business Development Managers.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement an aggressive sales strategy for Payments & FX DCC to drive new business growth,
  • Delivering Global and European merchants, acquirers, relevant third party enablers directly and through channel partners.
  • Generate & maintain a pipeline of quality prospects & targets.
  • Manage sales process from prospecting, sales & negotiating through to contract closure and hand over to Projects whilst maintaining the business ownership until live.
  • Work consultatively with targets to ensure customer is confident in the organisation's ability to deliver to meet requirements
  • Conduct ongoing analysis of markets and competitors to ensure their products stay ahead of market demand.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to ensure ability to understand & sell DCC & adapt product offering to relevant audience
  • Responsible for revenue growth within the region
  • Directly responsible for meeting and exceeding the revenue expectations on a monthly, quarterly and annual basis.
  • Establish an acute knowledge of competitive pricing and service/product offerings to ensure an acceptable win rate at acceptable margins for Payments & FX
  • Obtain a minimum yearly goal in New Business accounts.
  • Coordinate prospect/customer visits with Payments & FX Regional Business Development and Relationship Managers.
  • Work with revenue team to complete annual Sales Revenue Budget and work within this budget.
  • Negotiate pricing and contract requirements.

Profile

Business Development Manager - Payments -DCC

Required Experience

  • Bachelors' degree or equivalent experience required.
  • Minimum of 5 years' experience in the payments industry.
  • Knowledge of DCC
  • Outside sales experience with a proven history of consistent achievement.
  • A proven sales track record of presenting, influencing and negotiating at a C-level.
  • Willingness to travel internationally as required.
  • Experience of banking and credit card payments industry is an advantage.
  • Experienced in using CRM tools, Oracle CRM is a plus.

Job Offer

A Basic Salary of £50,000 - £60,000 dependant upon experience

Car allowance of £5,000
