Business Development Manager - Retail

A start-up in it's growth phase, with an innovative offering in the payment space and modern offices in London and Berkshire are seeking two Business Development Managers to join their team.

The Business Development Manager will manage a pipeline of prospective clients

Navigate multiple decision makers

Negotiate at senior levels

Secure face to face meetings with potential clients

Create and drive new business through sales pitches, presentations and sales proposals

Overcome objections for a positive conclusion

Following signing of a new client you will engage in the implementation/project management.

You will receive 50% of the commission at signing (paid following month), the remaining 50% at Go Live' point (paid following quarter).

At Go Live' the account will be handed to a Client Manager

A pre-sales technical manager will support you at first meetings

Key Requirements/Skills

Sold into large organisations, able to navigate who to speak to, relate at all levels and build relationships with gate keepers

PTR of New Business success within the payments industry

Acquiring experience

Sold into retailers (ie POS) or the travel sector.

Hungry, self - starter, driven, new business BDM

Resilient - someone who will knock down doors and hammer the phone.

Basic £45k - £65k depending on experience + generous commission structure + vested shares.

Mix of Home/London office/Berkshire office and Client Meetings (mostly London and the South East).

Home/London/Berkshire ?£60k basic + Commission + Vested shares
