Job Description

My client is responsible for a specialist group of companies providing financial benefits to contractor and corporate clients. Three brands make up the group and these specialist brands create a powerful and unique combination, providing expert Outsourcing, Financial and Accountancy Services.
They are looking to recruit a Commercial Manager/Director to join their dynamic and innovative group of Financial Services companies. They are launching a brand new credit/debit card offering to their 26,000 strong client and consumer base, and require an experienced individual to create and develop an exciting department in order to manage and facilitate this new product.
The role will not only have responsibility for implementing and delivering against revenue and business targets, it will also work closely with the IT Manager and have a strong influence in the creation of the operating platform to ensure it is fully operational and supports the full scope of the product. Furthermore, the role will help to develop and build the financial operations, banking, client accounts and general systems to make the department fully functional.
The successful individual will have an established background in the credit/debit card sector, with strong business acumen and commercial awareness. Our business is fast paced and constantly evolving so we are looking for someone who will support this culture with a positive approach and the ability to think innovatively. Prior experience of setting up a brand new department and product offering would be highly advantageous, but is not essential.
