To perform customer service and related activities in a professional and courteous manner, via email, chat, affiliated websites and social media platforms in order to provide an outstanding customer experience.


  • Delivers an Outstanding Northern Experience (ONE) across multi-channel/social media platforms by answering basic and complex inquiries regarding products and services.

  • Analyzes and processes system reports and researches actions to ensure the most efficient and economical resolution to improve the customer experience.

  • Works collaboratively with the Ecommerce department to ensure data integrity and order fulfillment accuracy of the affiliate internal websites.

  • Leverages the Company's social media profiles by promptly responding to customer feedback in a professional manner.

  • Provides and enforces internal controls for employee order processing to ensure compliance with the Company's discount policies.

  • Tracks daily volume of correspondence generated from affiliate websites and social media platforms. Actively keeps management informed of volume to monitor productivity and workload.

  • Suggests creative solutions and recommendations for Ecommerce and social media processes to improve customer satisfaction.

  • Performs as a back up to the corporate receptionist, as assigned.

  • Provides social media and affiliated website training to contact center personnel to ensure compliance of their policies and procedures.

  • Remains informed of all new and existing products by utilizing the Company's catalogs, websites, product manuals, and other appropriate materials.

  • Adheres to Company and departmental policy or procedural guidelines.

  • Keeps supervisor informed of important developments, potential problems, and related information necessary for effective management. Coordinates and communicates plans and activities with others, as appropriate to ensure a coordinated work effort and team approach

  • Performs related work as apparent or assigned.
