We are looking for an experienced, creative, innovative, and hands-on e-commerce expert to be a key driver in B2B and B2C e-commerce growth. The e-commerce Director will create and manage Digital Marketing campaigns and communications to drive acquisition channel through to conversion performance to meet new customer and sales revenue targets and perform analysis across channels. Additionally, they will support the development and expansion of our B2B digital processing business.
Job Description:
The Director will oversee the online presence and e-commerce platforms for Intermex, with primary responsibility for profitably accelerating e-commerce revenue by effectively leveraging and enhancing Online Marketing, Digital Properties, UX and UI, Content Management, Operations and Analytics capabilities as well as the ability to provide leadership towards the development of our B2B platform. A collaborative and inclusive leader reporting to Intermex's SVP of Marketing, this Director will possess a keen understanding of the digital customer experience and will manage ongoing updates, execution, tracking, optimization, and creation of branding, copy, evergreen and short-term content for digital owned and paid properties.
This is a startup business unit and as such you will need to be hands on with the day-to-day e-commerce operations and oversee a small team that is expected to grow over time under your leadership.
Duties and Responsibilities:
?? E-commerce Transactions - Primary responsibility for driving e-commerce revenue by improving conversion rates and increasing the number of online transactions, while leveraging digital assets to drive efficiencies across the customer lifecycle. Develop, refine, communicate, and execute a digital strategy with clear KPI objectives to increase Intermex's digital user base and related e-commerce transactions based on rigorous quantitative analysis, data science, and marketplace insight.
?? Digital UX & UI - Gain stakeholder support to develop and lead the execution of a digital product roadmap based on a deep understanding of Intermex's purpose, assets, customer needs and expectations. Track record of success in design by effectively translating over-arching brand strategy and positioning into compelling content and an engaging, intuitive and pleasing user experience across all Digital assets. Comfortable with informing, framing and interpreting customer and design research to deliver the appropriate navigation, site mapping, task flow, page layout and "look and feel" that resonates with Intermex's target consumers and is aligned with and supportive of the Intermex brand and its standards.
?? Growth Strategy - Develop a growth strategy and activities based on the current P&L and for the future years. Develop manage and communicate cross channel marketing and promotional plans and oversee all digital marketing efforts driving customer acquisition, retention, LTV, social engagement, website traffic, revenue and ROAS. Oversee all Social Media programs and content to increase brand awareness, conversion, and engagement.
?? Financial Delivery - Working collaboratively with the SVP, Marketing, play a key role in the definition and delivery of agreed-to e-commerce financial goals, including Revenue, Margin, EBITDA, CPA, LTV and MROI. Gain alignment to, and effectively help manage, the annual digital operating budget and results. Own the budget and understand how to make the appropriate tradeoffs and adjustments when performance exceeds or falls short of expectations.
?? Analytics & Optimization - Collaborating closely with other team members, work to improve forecasting and yield, enhance MROI and assess new business opportunities for Intermex. Develop a keen understanding of all sources of customer data and optimize how data is effectively utilized across the organization. Working collaboratively with develop and socialize monthly "state of digital" reports and ad hoc requests for the senior leadership team and internal partners/peers that monitor and showcase e-commerce results, behaviors, insights and trends and provide a benchmark for actionable insights.
?? Insights & Product Innovation - Serve as a thought leader, keeping the organization current by maintaining a pulse on industry trends and best practices for targeting, content, execution and analytics. Strive to continually uncover and identify new marketplace and customer tendencies, in addition to a keen understanding of "what must come next" from a category standpoint. This understanding should be leveraged to define, develop, test, and validate a portfolio of new digital products with a focus on expanding Intermex's e-commerce business.
?? Content Management - Working closely with marketing peers and external partners, develop and deploy a comprehensive content and audience development strategy designed to enhance awareness, consideration, and preference for the Intermex brand. This evocative and engaging content needs to effectively balance the company's e-commerce and Brand building goals. Define content requirements and implementation, which should reflect a deep understanding of Intermex's key customers and their motivations and drivers.
?? Functional Management & Development - This Director will be responsible for enhancing company-wide e-commerce competencies by overseeing and improving organizational design, structure, priorities, management processes and reporting information systems.
Job Requirements:
?? E-commerce Experience - Recent experience managing an online business or online retail channels at scale and developing Digital Marketing plans to drive that business, with an understanding of digital lead generation, acquisition and retention tactics. Ideally, this includes International responsibilities, and experience with Mobile platforms.
?? Product Development Experience - Specific Product work should have included up-front Research/Consumer Insights, Concept and Product Development, Feature Benefit rationalization, Business Use Case development, Pricing, Financial Forecasting, Documenting Business and UX requirements, testing protocols, and most importantly, successful Commercialization (test-marketing, market expansion, next generation optimization, etc.).
?? Brand Affinity - In order to ensure a unified consumer touchpoint experience aligned with Intermex's brand architecture and essence, this leader must have a passion for, and keen understanding of "Brand." The global FinTech landscape is crowded and competitive. Brand differentiation and brand story are critical to separating Intermex from this competitive pack, and the Digital and e-commerce strategies and plans must reflect the essence of what makes Intermex special. This person must come from a strong Brand and Marketing-driven culture.
?? Multi-Unit Retail - Ideally, experience in a customer-focused, promotionally-driven and multi-unit Retail Marketing environment (QSR, Casual Dining, Home Furnishings, Wireless), which would also include oversight for digital marketing. Ideally, this Retail experience includes both online and bricks-and-mortar channel experience.
?? Analytics - Exceptional knowledge of Google Analytics, Google Adwords, Google Remarketing. Solid knowledge of Customer Review Platforms, Facebook Advertising, Email Marketing Campaigns, A/B Testing, SEO / SEM, online payment gateways and online anti-fraud tools.
?? Business Experience - Track record of working effectively as a business leader, and not just a digital Marketer or Product specialist. That is, proven experience championing broad initiatives, leading cross-functional specialists, external partners while leading, managing and developing functional reports.
?? Team Development - Demonstrated success building organizational capabilities through process design, organizational development, recruiting and training high-performing teams. Proven ability to find and manage agency partners.

Schedule:
