Job Title: Ecommerce Assistant

Location: Burgess Hill

Salary: £19,000-£20,000

Our client is looking for an Ecommerce Assistant to ensure product data and information across all company websites is accurate and up to date, minimising issues impacting user experience and order processing.

Key Tasks

  • Ensure all online product/course information and imagery is accurate and up to date.
  • Checking all orders for price, promotion, delivery and VAT errors.
  • Adding and removing products & categories as and when required, including offer information to be displayed during promotional periods.
  • Regular analysis of sales & visitor statistics for all websites
  • Adding and amending vacancies and other content pages.
  • Ensuring store details are correct on internal and external websites.
  • Dealing with on-site customer issues e.g. unable to register/login/purchase.
  • Supporting customer services, including through channels such as social media
  • Setting up redirects for expired pages (404 errors).
  • Uploading blog and other content to the websites
  • Monitoring customer searches made through the websites and making corrections where needed.
  • Correcting issues surrounding payment errors and uncompleted orders.
  • Overseeing VAT exemption of qualifying customers.

Administration

  • Answer telephone promptly and efficiently as and when required
  • Attendance at company beauty shows and exhibitions if required
  • Need to ensure you understand the Customer Care policy and carry out at all times

Other Responsibilities

  • Promoting the Company's Aims and Values, acting with integrity and setting an example by own behaviour and adherence to these standards
  • Adhering to all Company policies and systems including Health & Safety and environmental issues
  • Complying with any other statutory or regulatory requirements
  • Demonstrating commitment to personal learning and development
  • Ensuring the office is maintained to agreed standards
  • Carrying out other reasonable tasks as requested by management
