Job Description:

Innovation 1st are looking to hire a talented individual to join their team. Working as a member of the global eCommerce team, the successful candidate will assist with all eCommerce activities. This will include testing, data management, customer service, online marketing and assistance on the further development and growth of our online Shops across the globe.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Day to day management of the online Shops: ensuring that the sites are up to date and functioning correctly at all times
  • eCcommerce platforms: configuration and set up of products, categories, CMS pages and general updates
  • Assistance with the development agency to resolve any issues, further development and design projects to improve websitess functionality and usability
  • Preparing and segmenting customer database for specific email campaigns
  • Build, test and schedule emails for launch and assistance with online marketing efforts
  • Analyse web and email performance to measure effectiveness and identify ways to drive traffic and online improvements
  • Generate reports on a monthly basis
  • Customer service support, including dealing with queries and complaints
  • Processing of purchase orders and invoices as necessary

The successful candidate will have:

  • Experience using Shopify, Magento or a similar back end eCommerce platform
  • Able to configure Shopify backend and make adjustments to templates and CSS
  • Knowledge of HTML and other web technologies
  • Understanding of online marketing platforms: Mailchimp, Google analytics
  • An ability to interpret data and use this for insight
  • A keen interest and understanding of web technologies
  • An ability to work with individuals and teams in other divisions
  • Proven analytical skills
  • Excellent organisational skills
  • Ability to prioritise projects and tasks, and to work without supervision to meet deadlines
  • Strong communication skills, written and verbal, with a good phone etiquette
  • Attention to detail
  • Willingness to learn
