Position summary: The Marketing Associate is responsible for executing strategic marketing campaigns based on high-level direction in collaboration with manager and design team. This role supports efforts to increase eCommerce sales through coordinating efforts on existing sales channels, maintaining an accurate and timely editorial calendar and crafting comprehensive content marketing campaigns. This role is accountable for timely, accurate and sales-oriented, consumer-facing communications.

Essential duties and responsibilities:

  • Execute overall campaign strategy and plans to support goal of increased sales.
  • Coordinate with design team to develop sales-driven campaign materials.
  • Review and schedule campaign communications across available communications channels.
  • Develop creative written content to support campaign strategy for email, social media and blogs.
  • Oversee and perform ongoing website updates and maintenance, including product setup, inventory maintenance, homepage and product updates.
  • Coordinate weekly Amazon responsibilities, including Purchase Order processing, monitoring Vendor Central offers and regular Amazon promotion.

  • 1-2 years of Marketing/Communications or related experience required.
  • Ability to work independently, illustrating knowledge of marketing best practice and creative common sense contributing to successful marketing campaigns.
  • Strong writing and editing abilities required.
  • Must be highly organized, deadline-oriented and show strong attention to detail.
  • Organizational, project and time management skills with strong attention to detail and deadlines.

Education and or Experience: Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations or related field required; or one to two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience

Language Skills

Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Ability to write simple correspondence. Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization.
