Summary: The eCommerce Marketing Manager is focused on utilizing digital tools and industry best practices techniques to optimize the company's website, omni-channels, digital content and e-communications for increased purchase conversions, lead generation and brand awareness.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.


  • Experience optimizing store and listings to result in increased revenue on eBay and Amazon.

  • Experience with Reverb optimization a plus.

  • Understands the entire purchase cycle funnel and accompanying technology and techniques to include promotional activities, consideration content generation, lead capture and successful conversion points.

Website Optimization and SEO

  • Full understanding of best practices in website optimization utilizing industry standard SEO techniques.

  • Derive insights from digital tools to recommend an optimized digital marketing balance which may include improvements in the website UI / UX, schema data usage, PPC campaigns, diversity in linking and strategic content.

  • Build and expand the Google Analytics reporting the company uses for tracking engagement and conversion health by working closely with the web team.

  • Certification in Google Analytics preferred.

  • Basic understanding of HTML, CSS and code impact on digital marketing health.


  • Experience with marketing automation platforms, list segmentation and optimized techniques for the deployment of a successful marketing automation program.

  • Work with the social media content team to optimize posts and link strategy.

  • Advise the content team on the copy for landing pages, emails and online advertising.

PPC and Advertising

  • Manage and optimize the display advertising program the company currently has in place.

  • Optimize the flow from ad to conversion.

  • Certification in Google Adwords preferred.

Teams and Projects

  • Work closely with the web ecommerce and marketing teams to develop projects and implement them.

  • Thrives on analyzing data and campaign metrics to result in optimization of the company's digital marketing activities.

  • Exceptional at seeing trends and patterns within data and communicating findings in a concise way.

  • Manages workflow and day-to-day work efficiently.

  • Bachelor's degree (B. A.) in Internet Marketing, Digital Marketing, Marketing or Digital Communications from four-year college or university; or three to five years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

  • Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations. Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.

  • Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables.

  • To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of industry tools used to evaluate a website's SEO, Serp data, PPC campaign performance and schema; Marketing Automation software / SaaS; Content Management Software; blogging platforms like WordPress; Presentation software; Design software; Spreadsheet software and Word Processing software.

  • Experience in a digital retail / ecommerce environment is preferred.
