Assist in the execution of internal control discipline and operational excellence within a LOB or ECF. Execute LOB/ECF specific processes and tools to drive adherence to enterprise-wide Standards. Support the implementation of QA/QC processes within the LOB/ECF through ongoing monitoring and testing of controls. Identify issues and/or control improvements for remediation, whilst assisting in building out actions plans and milestones. Acts as an ambassador of the risk culture. Develop and direct staff. Incumbents typically have over 8+ years of risk management and LOB/ECF experience.

Organizational Overview :
The GT&O Anti-Money Laundering (AML) Enterprise Process Oversight (EPO) teams directly impact the firm's ability to achieve and sustain operating and regulatory excellence. The AML EPO teams oversee the execution of significant processes across the enterprise by partnering with the Front Line Units (FLUs), Operations, Technology, Compliance and Legal. EPOs perform key functions to identify and mitigate risks, achieve operating targets and consistently comply with applicable laws, rules and regulations.
Role Overview :
The GBAM Engagement Manager brings the full set of AML EPO capabilities to the business by engaging and influencing applicable FLUs and Operations and driving performance against standards and procedures. The Engagement Manager u nderstands end-to-end processes and holds process owners accountable for risk identification, control environment and ongoing quality assurance and monitoring to ensure compliance with applicable policies and standards.
Key Responsibilities :
??? Regulatory change: Partners with Front Line Unit (FLU) leaders to determine and assess process, control, operating and technology impacts of changing regulations, policy and standards; Partners with Compliance, Risk, Audit and Business partners to close gaps in compliance with emerging requirements ??? Issues management oversight: Works with FLU's and control partners to identify and raise potential issues; Provides thematic analysis of issues for business to identify emerging trends, partners with FLU leaders to review results and create action plans; Oversees issue remediation efforts, and provide active guidance on process ??? Processes: Maintains strong relationships with process owners to understand and oversee end-to-end processes; Holds process owners accountable for risk identification, control environment, QA, etc. ??? Business controls and process compliance: Reviews controls monitoring and independent testing results with FLU to identify potential gaps or trends; Recommends remediation actions if necessary ??? Governance: Works with business leaders to ensure ongoing execution of appropriate governance and management structures ??? Transformation: When FLU is introducing new products and services, delivers end-to-end coordination to set up, onboard and refresh processes to achieve sustainable compliance [Lead a matrix team including but not limited to internal, global and third party associates ]
