Job Description

This individual will be a key part of the Fuel 4 Growth team who is dedicated to accelerating growth in high potential areas of the business. The scope will be global in nature and range across all categories in which the company operates. The successful candidate will work in a project-based mode and play a significant role in the development and implementation of strategic plans that will accelerate growth in the company.

For this role, we will expect this individual to be the voice of the consumer and the shopper, by gathering data and insights through existing or custom research programs, and to help the team leverage these insights to develop a strong activation plan. The objective is to increase business intelligence and to provide a fact-based approach to develop strong and sustainable plans.

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES

The individual will be responsible for working closely with all parts of the organization to conduct the following:

?? Develop rich market intelligence and business insights by bringing together multiple data sources including POS, primary and secondary research, desk research, internal sales data, conferences/shows and shopper platforms.

?? Work to provide a comprehensive, easy to digest view of the business opportunity, and provide real-time actionable insights to support business building strategies.

?? Support the team with fact-based recommendation on the development of business plans that accelerate growth through all key business drivers (i.e. innovation, portfolio optimization, media investment, trade investment, trade activation, etc.)

?? Develop financial scenarios based on key business initiatives and acceleration of investments.

?? Manage research partners, run custom research and present research results with recommendations for action.

. Develop business analysis and define, implement and monitor KPIs for success.

?? Coordinate cross-functional teams in preparing reports and drawing insights from consumer and category data; work cross functionally and collaboratively with local Brand Marketing, Trade Marketing, Category Management, Sales, and Group Business Units.

Qualifications

QUALIFICATIONS/TECHNICAL SKILLS

?? BA/BS; MBA preferred

?? Strong leadership skills

?? 3 -5 years experience in Marketing and/or Marketing Research, Category Management, Data Analytics - Sales experience is a plus

?? Previous experience using Nielsen or IRI

?? Proficiency in all Microsoft Office applications, including Excel and PowerPoint

Key Performance Indicators/Key Figures

?? Ability to effectively organize, analyze, and present data with actionable recommendations

?? Deliverable of sound analysis that is easily understood and actionable for the business

?? Present new & creative methodologies and thinking that provide step changes to the go-to-market plan

?? Ability to work in a fast paced, constantly changing environment display a high degree of flexibility and adaptation to cross-cultural and cross-functional teams

?? Ability to influence change in marketing & sales strategies through clever data based insights and convincing oral and written presentations

?? Ability to work collaboratively and cross-functionally with all business teams: sales, marketing, finance, legal, R&D, etc.

?? Achievement of project KPIs is greatest measure of success

?? Global scope: potential international travel
