Job Content

As we grow our Acceptance proposition in and beyond the Hospitality sector, we require a Head of Acquirer Payments to focus on acceptance expansion through new and existing Merchants
In this role, you will:
1. Sign and enable Merchants to utilise our produce offering
2. Manage the ongoing relationship with Merchants to ensure Merchant enablement is maximized and awareness, branding and technical enablement is maintained
3. Manage the end to end sales and budget pipeline, from initial identification as a target Merchant through to contract management, due diligence requirements enablement; validation etc.
4. Identify barriers for further growth in targeted markets and/or sectors and address those areas proactively
5.Ensure we remain a preferred supplier in the Events business for high profile sporting and entertainment events such as: Formula One, Olympic Games, Wimbledon, Tour de France, Rugby World Cup, Football World Cup and Musical Festivals
6. Ensure we increase our recurring revenue

• Develop proposals and negotiate agreements with new and existing Merchants to maximise sales volume
• Partner with and ensure that all internal functions (sales, implementation, technical, marketing, operations, legal, are effectively engaged to support the delivery of the account objectives
• Provide SME style support as required
• Ensure all existing agreements are tracked and remedial action taken if planned delivery is not on schedule
• Achieve the account objectives by delivering industry leading Account Management skills

Sales Strategies
• Create, grow and lead the sales team
• Introduce a Sales Process and supporting materials
• Execute and refine go-to-market plans to expand Bleep’s offering to merchants
• Identify the most suitable Merchants and develop the sales team to deliver on these

Budgeting and Performance Reporting, .
• Maintain a detailed sales pipeline, track and report progress against the pipeline and goals
• Highlight gaps and recommend ways to remediate any gaps to goals
• Responsible for documenting, monitoring and reporting internally in a timely manner the performance and the status of any Merchants being on-boarded
• Own and manage budget and forecast process for the team

You will have :
• Direct Payment Industry experience
• Extensive payments experience in Business development / sales / relationship management roles.
• A strategic and goal orientated mind set
• Experience in working with Payment Schemes
•  Business acumen and proven commercial mind
• Ability to grow and lead a team of Sales Hunters
• Hands-on, self-sufficient and entrepreneurial with the ability to roll your sleeves up and get stuck in to get the job done
