Based in Manchester, they are at the forefront of technology and innovation with an unwavering commitment towards creating quality solutions for their clients. They provide bespoke web solutions using the best web technologies for CMS's, ecommerce, bespoke applications and integrated solutions which has seen them earn a reputation as the 'go-to' agency for projects where a high level of technical expertise is required. As the Head of eCommerce, you should have experience and expertise developing on Magento as you will be responsible for overseeing all projects in the eCommerce department, primarily built on the Magento platform. Both client-facing and internally-focused, you will be tasked with helping to propose and secure new contracts, as well as improving efficient processes within your team and the business as a whole. The role involves collaborating with colleagues across all departments, principally leading and motivating the eCommerce development team, you will also work closely with the sales team and senior management. As a department head, you will be expected to communicate with the Production Manager and HR, to efficiently manage the resources of your team. What we need form you- * Experienced - working with Magento 1 & 2. * An excellent communicator - written and verbally * An effective team leader who is able to coordinate and collaborate across departments. * Strong commercial acumen and negotiation skills. * Organised - with excellent time management. * Flexible - constantly learning new approaches and adapting quickly to changing priorities. * Meticulous - with high attention to detail and consistency. * Influential - successfully leading and working with those not directly under your control. * A natural aptitude for solving challenging problems. * Ambition: continually striving for quality. * An ability to focus on a clear goal in all actions. * Active engagement with the Magento community. * Skill in some or all of the management tools used e.g. Atlassian Suite, Hubspot, Google Apps.
