Due to recent international expansion, we seek to add the talents of an eCommerce Head of Finance to one of the industry's largest image processing facilities in the world. The HoF will oversee all accounting and finance related functions for Printerpix and its group brands. The Director will be tasked with growing the accounting and finance team while supporting Printerpix international expansion efforts in North America, Europe and the UK. Additionally, they will serve as the department head, representing the accounting and finance department while working with the executive leadership team to drive both short and long term financial strategy. The ideal candidate will possess an extremely strong background in e-commerce dealing with high levels of day to day transactions, automation and system integration. While in depth experience with international accounting and financial reporting standards is not necessarily required, candidates with exposure to the practices are highly preferred., Business partner with the MD and executive leadership team to identify and drive actions that maximise growth, profitability & value creation. * Oversee all activities of the accounting and finance department including the month-end and year-end close processes, financial reporting, payroll, tax, commission payout plans, A/R, A/P, and cash management. * Plan & execute the annual budget process. * Use financial forecasting and modelling techniques to anticipate challenges and opportunities before they arise. * Provide prospective / forward-looking financial planning and analysis to corporate leadership. * Set priorities and goals for the department, interview, hire and mentor the accounting and finance team. Implement goals objectives and practices for effective efficient and cost-effective management of allocated resources. * Establish and maintain corporate accounting policies, procedures, and internal controls to ensure conformance with laws/regulations. * Manage external auditor relationships to ensure timely and efficient year end audit and initiate quarterly reviews. * Ensure complete and accurate tax compliance and tax accounting processes. Ensure accounting systems and processes are continually streamlined via process improvement to achieve greater efficiencies and accuracy in the level and timeliness of reporting. * Build relationships cross-functionally to foster collaboration both inside and outside of Accounting & Finance team. * Oversee and direct end of month and year procedures along with reporting to Board of Directors. Produce timely and accurate reporting materials and analysis to illustrate Group financial health. * Provide financial analyses as needed, for capital investments, pricing decisions, and contract negotiations. * Responsible for timely submission of returns to Government authorities, such as payroll taxes, sales tax, corporate tax, etc. * Building automation between vendor systems, front end systems and back end systems to provide full cycle automation * Working with marketing analytics to ensure profitable acquisition and retention campaigns and bringing accounting value to analytics to ensure 360-degree visibility across all business operations * Defining and installing metrics to measure eCommerce performance to include life time value, cost of acquisition and profitability metrics to drive growth * Working on raising financial profile of organisation, raising of capital and private equity / venture funding. Working and coordinating with financial institutions to ensure information is provided to allow for scale. * eCommerce automation from front end, middleware and back end systems in all business into Financials Systems * Liaison and coordination in the process of raising private equity (providing all plans, financials and data required by such institutions and coordinating as such) * Automating financial metrics into marketing analytics and providing marketing with detailed automated metrics that allow marketing to growth hack. * Identify business trends & insight to enhance performance & profitability. * Building amazon like technologies and efficiencies into finance such that the group has full and immediate second by second visibility to allow it to scale. * Deliver commercial analysis to support tactical & strategic decision making including capital appraisal, sale and promotional activity. A dynamic, young and 'hungry to learn' spirit, who has a positive and unstoppable winning attitude., * Minimum 3-5 years of experience as a head of finance, senior controller or financial leadership role within a midsized business that handles large volumes of daily transactions. * Experience within Photo / E-commerce / manufacturing industry is essential * Analytical abilities to research, extract, summarize and communicate complex or diverse information * Skilled in successfully establishing processes and procedures and coordinating resources to build technology automation for straight through processing. * Interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions and deal with abstract and concrete variables * Previous exposure to International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) is a plus. * Advanced understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP); able to apply GAAP to new and existing transactions. * Prior management experience with the ability to build a team that produces quality results in an efficient manner within tight time frames. * Highly proficient with internal and external reporting using Microsoft Excel & QuickBooks Pro, Sage 500 * Previous experience in developing and implementing budgets and financial plans in collaboration with senior management. * Excellent professional written and verbal communication skills and ability to cooperate with management and leadership at all levels and in all locations * Must possess strong leadership experience with the ability to direct and hold people accountable as well empowering growth in junior members of the team * Strong P&L efficiency focus with an insight into how to achieve cost reductions in all areas * Confident in directing and coordinating resources and assets * Must be able to empower, lead, train and coach their team impact fully * Must be highly analytical, process orientated and skilled in problem solving * Continuously strives to improve processes and talent within their team * Continuing and ongoing studies and education in accounting and finance, * Degree in Finance or Accounting * Certified Public Accountant (CPA) (ACCA and CIMA preferred) * Masters of Business Administration (MBA) preferred
