Head of Online eCommerce

Up to £27500, depending on experience

Shoreham by Sea

Monday to Friday 09.00 - 17.30

Hunters' client is an extremely fast growing creative manufacturing company with a large online portfolio. A Head of Online is required with a thorough understanding of online marketplaces and online processes, and an in-depth knowledge of Amazon Vendor & Seller Central.

  • Understanding and Managing eBay storefronts
  • An in-depth knowledge of listing tools and listing processes
  • Set up and execute online inventory management systems and customer support platforms
  • Responsible for collaborating with partners to manage all aspects of the eCommerce business including, business planning, content strategy and development, promotional campaigns and other online marketing, website design, customer service, payment systems, web analytics and web technologies
  • Acting as a project manager to evaluate, prioritise, develop, manage, implement and test eCommerce initiatives
  • Participate in the development and execution of strategic and tactical business plans with management supporting the eCommerce strategy
  • Manage the user experience of websites, and marketplace offerings, including site navigation, content development, costing and promotional campaigns.
  • Develop and oversee the effective planning, and execution of content across the websites, marketplaces and online campaigns to ensure efficiency, accuracy and timeliness of all web content publishing
  • Manage all aspects of eCommerce and communicate relevant information to team members and Board of Directors
  • Build and direct a team of internal and external suppliers to effectively develop eCommerce solutions
  • Proven leadership of eCommerce projects
  • Experience with B2C and B2B eCommerce platforms and solutions
  • Extensive knowledge of e-commerce technologies and day to day implementation
  • Generate and implement new sales and marketing initiatives to increase eCommerce sales and profitability
  • Provide expertise on current eCommerce industry best practices.
  • Identify new areas of eCommerce opportunity beyond current organisational thinking
  • Demonstrate strong business judgment and decision-making skills; ability to identify, prioritise, and articulate highest impact initiatives
  • Ultimate responsibility for the success and profitability of all online initiatives
  • Current software used: Big Commerce and Linworks
