The department in which this role sits aims to enable access to the wider brand by agreeing licences with card issuers and payment acquirers.


Indirect Sales Specialist - Credit and Commercial Card Payments

Responsible for actively interacting with Account Managers, MD of key markets and key clients in the UK and Ireland cluster to work out customised deals and understand how the Business unit can contribute to retaining and winning new business in order to increase the "stickiness" of the organisation/brand with key clients.

Key Accountabilities:

  • Contributes to the annual Business operating plan.
  • Engage directly with Account Managers, Country managers and MD of UK & Ireland, and key clients for large deals that needs customisation from a scheme perspective
  • Help to retain and grow deal pipeline for the Cluster.
  • Manage investment requirements and deliverables through Central Services.
  • Define the key areas of improvement to become the most preferred scheme for the market
  • Manage incentive funds on behalf of clients as part of the CIA to get key joint activities to be executed
  • Support key clients that have incentive funds in kind allocated to them that these funds are spend in the best interest of the organisation to deliver consultancy, marketing or core product innovations for the client.
  • Determine the investment strategy for key initiatives and drive this with the central services or to conclusion.


Indirect Sales Specialist - Credit and Commercial Card Payments

Essential Knowledge and Experience:

  • Excellent knowledge and experience of the payments business and/or financial services
  • Ideally credit or commercial card background in financial services.
  • Ability to gain clear client requirements and challenge the status quo (look behind the obvious answers)
  • The ability to liaise well with both internal stakeholders and clients
  • Commercial understanding of what drives Revenue for the organisation and how to create value to the customer
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to liaise with stakeholders at all levels within own member business
  • Proven influencing, selling and negotiation skills
  • Stakeholder management skills
  • Team Management capabilities

Job Offer

A basic salary of £75,000 - £85,000

Car Allowance of £6,700
