Insight Analyst, Mobile Payments

As an Insight Analyst you will deliver hypothesis-driven analysis to investigate key business issues relating to Mobile Payments customers, markets, products and channels, and use this insight to drive the wider Mobile Payments agenda to create value for customers, colleagues, the community and the company. This role will involve working together with business units to understand their needs and working collaboratively to develop analysis that drives the business decisions in Mobile Payments

About us:
The Mobile Payments business is responsible for the development and delivery of world class mobile payments innovation and platforms across Barclays, primarily though our Pingit brand. We're very much like a Fintech start-up within Barclays, operating in a dynamic and agile way to deliver solutions at pace in a competitive industry. We cover a full range of capabilities from P2P payments, wearables, and international payments through to voice payments and the Internet of Things. Through innovation and experimentation, the Mobile Payments business ensures Barclays remains central to the mobile payments ecosystem building out features and propositions that engage our customers.

As an Insight Analyst, your main responsibilities will involve:
??? Identifying performance trends, customer behaviours and commercial opportunities and risks through application of analytical skills
??? Contributing to the design, test and build of complex information to identify causal links between customer behaviour and business opportunities and performance
??? Demonstrating an innovative approach to data-based problem solving, and having input into the development of an analytic strategy that supports our overall business strategy
??? Developing the targeting approach to accurately identify customer needs.
??? Designing tests, delivery campaigns and analysing performance to ensure campaigns are executed effectively
??? Improving the accuracy, availability, granularity and coverage of our data, and those that implement new data management and manipulation tools

As an Insight Analyst, your skills and qualifications will include:
??? Previous analytic experience preferably within financial services products/segments, digital or Telco
??? The ability to communicate and present complex ideas, issues and recommendations at all levels
??? Proven effective time management in order to deliver against tight timescales in spite of potential project challenges
??? Previous experience of programming within SQL
??? Demonstrable experience in creating business models, both financial and consumer behavioural
