Our rapidly expanding business is experiencing dynamic change and in order to support this uplift, the Head of Marketing responsible for FIS’s global marketing activities is growing his department and is currently recruiting.

This role is based in FIS’s architecturally designed bright and airy offices, 5 minutes from both Watford Station and the busy shops, bars and restaurants of the intu centre.

Job Scope

You will be working in a tight-knit team where you will achieve responsibility from day one for getting involved in key initiatives, campaigns and events providing creative marketing solutions to over 20,000 clients in over 130 countries.
As a member of the International Marketing team, you will play an active role with responsibility for preparing marketing and communication materials, and working alongside the International team to deliver the international marketing plan.

What does an International Marketing Assistant do at FIS?
• You will:
o take an active role in developing and preparing international marketing campaigns and initiatives ensuring project delivery on specific tasks across multiple delivery channels
o manage and maintain international web content calendar and provide specific web content including the event calendar, promotional slots and hero banners
o provide logistical and administrative support for events including but not limited to all regional conferences and exhibitions, round tables, webinars, Global Client Conference and other EMEA sales focused events, including both client and sales participation
o you will manage and maintain the international collateral including the slide repository, ensuring that all data is accurate and up to date
o manage, track and measure campaign effectiveness and sales lead progress from marketing activities
o manage invoices and reporting to ensure that all EMEA and International finances are under control
o manage, compile and administer monthly marketing reports for CMO and others senior leaders
o assist in cross-company marketing initiatives and special projects.
o provide general assistance to the VP, International Marketing Strategy and marketing support for the International Marketing team
o perform other related duties as assigned
What we are looking for from an International Marketing Assistant at FIS
• Bachelor’s degree in business, sales, or marketing or the equivalent combination of education, training, or work experience.
• Understanding of marketing logistics, campaign execution and management.
• Considerable knowledge in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
• Knowledge of marketing tools and methodologies, understanding of social media in a business context would be an advantage
• Knowledge of project management methods and techniques to ensure the coordination of people (internal clients and external vendors) and processes to achieve desired outcomes
• Proficiency in establishing and maintaining effective working relationships with employees, clients and public
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills to technical and non-technical audiences of various levels in the organisation (e.g. executive, management, individual contributors)
• Proficiency in problem solving and time management skills managing multiple deadlines
• Proficiency to operate independently
