Position Description/Overview:

Responsibility includes:

?? Manage and administer an effective KYC program for the New York Branch

?? Ensure client vetting data and document processing comply with regulations, guidelines, standard and policy

?? Perform analysis of KYC; ensure all appropriate customer documentation is on file in accordance with internal and external guidelines

?? Work with business lines and relationship managers on CDD / EDD

?? Facilitate automation of CIP/CDD/EDD processes

?? Inform COO/Head of Compliance of any potential regulatory compliance shortfalls related to KYC

?? Opine on any new KYC-related regulatory pronouncements or changes as well as potential impact they may have on the Branch or Bank

?? Monitor KYC productivity and ensure quality standards

?? Manage KYC-related metrics and produce various reports for local management and Head Office

?? Assist in the development, implementation, and periodic performance of key controls

?? Interact with IA and regulators during examinations

?? Provide ongoing training to business lines / RMs.

?? Perform other compliance related duties as required

Supervisory responsibilities:

?? Provide training to KYC analysts

?? Assigns tasks to / monitors work of KYC analysts

Knowledge/Skill Requirements:

?? Bachelor's degree required

?? Familiarity with U.S. AML Laws/Regulations

?? Familiarity with Corporate Banking and Financial Institutions business and relevant products / services (e.g. Letters of Credit, Trade Finance, Clearing)

?? 4 - 6 years of experience in financial services in KYC and/or AML

?? Superior written and verbal skills to communicate with senior management and staff

?? Able to comprehend changes to laws and regulations including reporting impact of changes to senior management

?? Able to use Word, Excel and PowerPoint proficiently

?? Strong research and problem-solving skills

?? Able to manage time and multiple deadlines

?? Able to provide training to staff

?? Ability to read, write and understand Mandarin is Required
