With the re-organisation of the Dovetail Marketing team we now have a requirement for a Marketing Communications Manager. The role will be responsible for developing and delivering communication plans that drive awareness of Dovetail, enhance its positioning and increase positive sales leads. Although the role requires an understanding of all marketing communications options, there needs to be a specific focus on digital channels (website, social media, e-newsletters etc) and the effective use of PR – targeting key stakeholders at a corporate level and clients/prospects in the target market segments. Maximising the effectiveness of this role will require close co-ordination with the marketing planning/insight, product/solution marketing and marketing operations/sales support functions and an ability to develop and use appropriate analytics.

• Develop integrated communications plans (PR, social media, advertising, website) for corporate and target market segments
• Implement communications activities to drive awareness of Dovetail, its positioning (including thought leadership, brand attributes etc) and sales leads
• Develop relationships with key media to grow media coverage (including writing press releases, managing press/stories to ensure positive PR etc)
• Optimise effectiveness of company website (including design, content management etc)
• Produce regular e-news letters
• Develop regular analytics to maximise campaign effectiveness
• Provide editorial role for all ‘broadcast’ material (website, white papers, positioning papers, social media etc) based on content provided by product/solution marketing, marketing planning/insight etc

The person
• Highly articulate individual with excellent written and verbal communications skills
• Strong understanding of current online marketing concepts, strategies and best practice
• Proven expertise in managing press/driving media coverage
• Good analytical mindset
• Attention to detail/an ethic of quality
• Ability to manage projects and processes to deadlines in a dynamic environment
• Team player

• Education
o BA/BSc or equivalent

• Experience
o 5 – 10 years experience in managing complete marketing communications spectrum in B2B environment
o Strong digital marketing experience (including website design, SEO, social media etc)

Location / travel requirements
• Dovetail UK office (City of London)
• Less than 10% travel required
