MARKETING / PRODUCT MANAGER
Product Manager – Cashless/Connectivity
The candidate needs to be within a commutable distance to Reading and be eligable to work in the UK’ (there will be an element of travel circa 30%)

Reporting into the Senior Director for Connectivity Solutions, you will be responsible for all aspects of the product platform lifecycle. Critical to success will be the need to drive platform P & L growth, gather and prioritise product and customer requirements, articulate and quantify the Value Propositions to establish productpositioning and pricing and define the product vision and roadmap, and work closely with Engineering, to deliver winning products.
What does a Product Manager do at CPI?
• interact and communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders
• ensure product and marketing efforts support the company's o strategy and goals
• be involved with strategic planning for, and leadership of a market segment
• assume market-penetration responsibility for multiple products i
• Own product management within the Business Vertical from inception through introduction to obsolescence, with particular focus on NPD
• Identify and define all NPD activity including managing new product requisitions
• Manage product enhancement
• Manage engineering to sales product transition process
• Ownership for Product extensions and product extension strategy
• Accountable for defining engineering priorities and activity
• Working with external third parties to assess partnerships and licensing opportunities
• Understanding market needs and competitiveness
• Driving customer-led product enhancements
• ?Act as the primary bridge between customer feedback and articulating requirements to R&D
• Driving resolution of customer satisfaction issues
• Managing issues associated with ordering of product, systems, tools and manufacturing ?supply
• Manage and perform product demos for customers
• Coordinate with US sales and marketing
• Coordinate with other Business Verticals on Products under their control ?
• Define product strategy and roadmap
• Ensure Business driven product objectives are aligned with and supported by strategic marketing ?
What we are looking for from a Product Manager at CPI
You will have:
• a degree with broad experience in Marketing and be comfortable with technical issues
• a technical background in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Fintech or high-tech systems
• a good understanding of; the eCash market, settlement process, Chip/Pin, NFC, Magnetic Swipe and mobile cashless ?payment technologies and cashless processing
• experience in Machine to Machine product management
• experience in driving products into a competitive market
• experience of working in a matrix structure and stakeholder management and communication
• Extensive experience in gathering customer requirements
• have a high level of energy and be comfortable performing multifaceted projects along with day- to-day activities and be an outstanding communicator
• a strong quantitative background, requiring the ability to craft complex ROI models and value propositions
• a track record of quickly analyzing data and situations and drawing relevant conclusions to have positive effects on business in a complex environment
• be able to make logical decisions based on data
