To project manage the creation, production, development and delivery of all in store POS against the promotional and sales floor strategy plans
Working in conjunction with other departments and functions (e.g. Brand Marketing, Store Operations, Promotions and Store Development project teams) to ensure delivery of all materials on time and within budget
Be aware of developments in the marketplace both in terms of print developments and innovations
Create effective and accurate briefs to ensure artwork and creative reflect the Argos brand guidelines
Manage activities and prioritise workload in line with team planner and critical path
Ensure that all relevant stakeholders are consulted and engaged in the Space Planning process to achieve display sign off

To project manage the production and delivery of all POS elements, including national promotions, trials and ad hoc projects from brief through to implementation in stores
Deliver accurate and timely content to both customers and store colleagues, in-line the promotions and sales floor strategy plans
To work with various internal departments, and external agency teams, to ensure objectives and quality standards are met
To oversee and brief agencies and art workers for the creation, production, development and delivery of all in store POS, ensuring accuracy of all content and maintaining the Argos brand identity
Maintain the stores profile database to ensure all POS materials are allocated correctly
Ensure communications for POS, VR's, POS Guides and updates are communicated correctly to stores
To work with and develop POS Briefing processes and tools required to improve the efficiency of ways of working
Provide cross functional support to teams, providing POS expertise when required
Complete all project administration correctly and to required timescales
Develop, trial and implement new concepts in retail POS & Display


To support in the management of the POS & Display budgets, including all financial administration and reconciliations


Accountable for delivering POS materials across all store formats

will be required to manage tactical level thinking and planning to deliver a strong operational execution which places the customer at the forefront of decisions

Ability to influence required across the Argos business, particularly with other Marketing teams - able to network and build support in order to seek resolutions quickly and efficiently


Within this role you will be required to interact, influence and develop collaborative relationships across multiple functions and be confident communicating with all levels within these functions.

Key contacts include: Retail General Managers, Area Managers, Operations, Brand Marketing, Product Marketing 3rd Party suppliers.

Technical knowledge and practical experience

The qualifications, technical skills, knowledge and the work experience (range of experiences) required for success in this role. Think of both the depth (e.g. in years of experience, size of project) and breadth (e.g. different environments/ contexts) of experience needed to perform the role

Experience in a Marketing environment and significant experience in relation to POS print production and project management.

Good commercial judgement and the ability to write effective briefs and judge creative

Excellent communication, listening and verbal skills

Ability to manage complex projects with a wide variety of stakeholders

Experience of delivery through 3rd parties /agencies

Good budgetary management skills.

Competent use of Microsoft Office programs - Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook

Good planning, organising and time/ project management skills

Good communication skills both written and verbal

Knowledge of key operations / marketing activities (retail in general)

Knowledge of procedures in store

Previous marketing experience in Retail or FMCG markets
