Our site uses the power of group buying to get unbeatable deals on the best stuff to do, see, visit, eat and buy in a variety of cities in the UK. We target young, affluent females who can't resist the temptation of our WOW factor deals, and focus our marketing spend on adding to our large database. Wowcherland can be found in Islington, London, where most of our fun and fabulous team reside.

Wowcher are looking for a Merchant Services Executive to manage our e-commerce merchants post deal and to assist with the administration of our deals.

The Merchant Services Executive will be responsible for handling suppliers after their deal has run on the site, handling any issues or queries that might be relative to that supplier as well as building a relationship with them. He/she will be responsible for manipulating and analysing customer data and with multiple deals running in various locations, must be able to manage suppliers effectively and prioritize the various tasks that the role will involve.

Main responsibilities:

  • Provide support and reassurance to suppliers and resolve any queries.
  • Work closely with the internal customer support team to handle any issues for a particular supplier
  • Work alongside the Sales Team to understand a particular supplier and their business profile

Skills required:

  • The ability to communicate efficiently - verbally and in print
  • Strong Microsoft Office knowledge, especially Outlook and Excel
  • Detail oriented, with initiative, motivation and focus
  • The ability to multitask and handle several suppliers simultaneously
  • Be able to work as part of a team, but take responsibility and make decisions knowing when to escalate an issue
  • An excellent ability to be professional at all times and remain calm under pressure
  • Time management skills that allow you to manage your own diary effectively
  • Ability to build rewarding customer relationships
  • Flexible and able to quickly adapt to new situations
  • A team player with the ability to build positive working relationships with colleagues and stake-holders
  • An interest in the daily deals sector, and the desire to learn more about our business
