Operations Manager - London

Our client is an ambitious subscription-based loyalty & rewards business, based in London.

We are keen to hire an Operations Manager to join our busy London office, and help us manage the operations team, work efficiently & scale our business as we grow. We have exciting international growth plans and we need a very switched on Operations Manager to help put our plans into action. Reporting to the Managing Director, the Operations Manager will be responsible for the day-to-day management of the operations team. You will work closely with both our internal teams (from our remote call centre guys to our fantastic developers) as well as all external partners (from business partners to payments processors).

No two days will be the same! You will have access to a non-hierarchical management team who listen & encourage fresh ideas alongside working on specific projects, analysing reporting data and managing the day-to-day performance of the operations team.

The best applicants will have:

Experience managing an operations team, preferably in a subscription-model business
An ownership mindset with an analytical eye & a track record of problem-solving
A get-things-done attitude, highly motivated & pro-active, able to make decisions
A track record of success gained in an SME/start-up/roll your sleeves up & get stuck in kind of environment

And be:

A confident and concise communicator, extremely well organised & passionate
Fun to work with (which means many things, but esp. sharp, positive and open)
Savvy enough to know what situations are emergencies that need our attention, what needs to go to the top of the list and what fire needs to be extinguished now rather than later
A multitasker who can track multiple loose threads and ensure resolution – multiple plate spinners welcome!
A reliable, tech-savvy person who can step up & get things done
A warm, honest leader who is comfortable giving feedback on performance and strives to create a strong working environment for their team
