Our rapidly expanding business is experiencing dynamic change and in order to support this uplift, the Head of Marketing responsible for FIS’s international marketing activities is growing his department and is currently recruiting.

This role is primarily based in FIS’s architecturally designed bright and airy offices, 5 minutes from Watford Station and the shops, bars and restaurants of the Intu centre.

FIS also have London offices in Canary Wharf and Central London. There is some flexibility to work from these offices as and when required.
Job Scope
Critical to success will be the need to thoroughly understand marketing planning and implementation activities within an organisational context.

You will have a flair for combined creative and strategic business skills as you will be responsible for providing strategic & tactical marketing expertise across the EMEA Payments business to support and impact the achievement of the business objectives.

You will be working in a tight-knit team with a passion for freedom and flexibility to innovate and get involved in the full end to end marketing process providing creative solutions to over 20,000 clients in over 130 countries.

You will identify areas where FIS payment solutions can help banks meet their challenges, and create compelling marketing messages to reflect this.

You will create and execute marketing plans as well as manage the execution of lead generation campaigns that drive new business opportunities.
 
You will be an innovative B2B marketing professional accustomed to multi-tasking in a fast paced business environment. This is a high-profile role and you will be liaising frequently with key internal Senior Management stakeholders such as: the Regional MD, COO, Sales Director, Head of Pre-Sales and Head of Operations.

What does a Payments Marketing Strategy Specialist do at FIS?

• Strategy – formulate, direct, gain agreement to and implement the EMEA Payments marketing strategy, including the creation of an annual marketing plan and budget for EMEA Payments
• Lead Generation Campaigns – plan and manage all aspects of individual targeted business development campaigns. Also, responsibility for agency management, conception and agreement of campaign topic through to measurement and feedback.
• New Solution GTM Campaigns – plan, develop and manage campaigns to launch new solutions
• Sales Tools – responsibility for creation and upkeep of brochures, case studies, presentations, event presence
• Web site – maintain and develop the EMEA payments pages on fisglobal.com, including developing a network of content providers and manage this network to provide tailored content
• Brand – support and promote the FIS brand in all markets
• RFP Support – work with the sales and pre-sales teams on strategic sales
• Marketplace and Analyst Communications – contribute to EMEA analyst and consultant briefings.
• Media Communications – Work with PR regarding messaging, press releases, relevant articles and interviews
• Conferences & Events – Plan and manage FIS participation in multi-lingual industry events
• Local Partners - Leverage and integrate marketing strategy and tactics with local partners
• Budget - Manage and track the EMEA Payments marketing budgets

What we are looking for from a Payments Marketing Strategy Specialist at FIS

As well as experience in all of the above, you will be an experienced B2B marketing expert preferably within the financial services or payments industry. You will have detailed knowledge of consumer payments and, importantly the ability to translate technical product features into compelling propositions. You will have encompassed all main facets of marketing and will have a thorough understanding of how the marketing function can add value and measurable success to the sales and business development of the company.
You will be comfortable working in a fast-moving, multi-tasking environment and able to cope with high degrees of activity. You will possess excellent interpersonal skills and be a team player, willing to travel for trade shows and other events.
