PMO – Financial Services

Description
My Client are growing their team across UK Financial Services, and are looking for technology professionals with a proven background in programme management office / portfolio delivery assurance. They believe that high performing businesses deliver programmes and projects most effectively when they use mature Portfolio Delivery Assurance services.
The FS Technology Programme Management Office Consultant plays a critical role in helping clients go through their transformation journey and this person will operate alongside Business and IT stakeholders to understand relevant business and technology needs and drive successful delivery. As a member of this team you will work alongside the client leadership teams to ensure successful delivery

Requirements
We have a number of roles available for individuals with a strong portfolio delivery assurance background within Financial Services organisations and who can demonstrate prior experience one or several of the following areas:
? Programme mobilisation & setup.
? Master PMO services.
? Planning experience.
? Risk & Issue management.
? Resource management.
? Project Financials management.
? Requires good understanding of delivery to be able to challenge the delivery leads on progress.

Required Skills
? Strong client-facing experience with the ability to build and maintain client relationships.
? Ability to lead teams and direct work in a client-facing environment.
? Excellent leadership, communication (written and verbal) and interpersonal skills.
? Strong problem solving skills:
? Demonstrate ability to approach a problem in a structured manner and propose workable solutions.
? Demonstrate ability to absorb and process information quickly.
? Consulting experience or ability to work in a consulting environment.
? Demonstrated career progress to date.
? Your base location will be London, Manchester or Edinburgh, although most of our consultants work on lengthy client engagements within the UK and Ireland. Therefore you must be willing to work away from home Monday to Friday as required.
