POS Acquiring Sales Representative
Job description
Scope of Position

As members of a dynamic team, the POS Acquiring Sales Representatives will be responsible to generate, qualify and complete POS Acquiring sales opportunities with a focus on value added transactions (e.g. DCC, tax refund, airport vouchers etc.), within large accounts of the Retail sector in the UK, aiming to meet or exceed stated financial targets.

Key Responsibilities
Achieve growth of the company’s POS Acquiring revenue and account penetration with a focus on value added transactions (e.g. DCC, tax refund, airport vouchers etc.).
Drive sales for a specific region in the Country at high end merchants.
Deliver sales presentations and proposals, and provide functional support to clients making sure that they take full advantage of the company’s POS Acquiring offering.
Prepare sales reports and maintain accounts records in order to keep management informed regarding specific opportunities’ progress, market share and trends.
Demonstrate knowledge of the clients’ business and competitive landscape, and propose solutions translating their needs into business opportunities.
Resolve account issues through escalation or delegation to appropriate management and operations teams.

General Requirements
University degree in Business Administration or Finance. Professional training in sales is an asset.
A minimum of 5 years sales experience in the field of POS Acquiring solutions and services.
In-depth understanding of value added transactions (e.g. DCC, tax refund, airport vouchers etc.) mechanisms.
Proven track record of success in managing and growing large accounts within the Retail sector. Ability to construct detailed account plans and execute against them.
Highly IT literate. Revenue forecasting knowledge.
