This position is responsible for boarding new participants and providing operational support to Discover Global Network issuers, acquirers, processors, network to network partners. This will involve Interfacing with internal and external stakeholders and customers to define modifications to the applications and/or processes. Resolving escalated customer issues and inquiries. Responsible for planning, organizing and managing projects with participants.

1. Bachelor’s Degree or 3-7 years of relevant work experience.
2. Cross functional knowledge of Payment Network Industry focusing on operations and relationship management which results in ability to make critical project recommendations and decisions. Client Management.
3. Customer oriented attitude.

4. Experience in international payment network systems, technical and operational knowledge in authorization, clearing,/settlement, and dispute processes.

5. Strong Project management & problem solving skills.

6. Strong communication skills which allow effective communication with all levels of employees, customers and management.

7. Self-motivated, demonstrated ability to work & lead teams.

8. Ability to independently with little direct supervision.

9. Strong familiarity with MS Office, including Outlook, PowerPoint, Word and Excel (including pivot tables, vlookups and graphs) .

10. Fluency in a European language such as French, German or Spanish.
Experience in client management/client facing roles


1. Provide day to day support for Discover Global Network acquirers, network to network partners, issuers and processors. This includes researching complex situations, and supporting the participants an all aspect of operations and managing participant operational relationships.
2. Support participants through the semi annual release process. This includes managing and coordinating certification, ensuring the Participants are in compliance with operating Rule and Regulations and engaging the participants to support Discover and Diners Club key initiatives.
3. Implement new network products (DPAS, Digital, ProtectBuy, etc.) and provides level 1 support for product implementation and remediation items
4. Support the Quality of Acceptance Initiatives by managing the DGN participants within the assigned portfolio. Activities include but are not limited to analyzing end to end transaction processing, help to trouble shoot any card declines or card holder acceptance complaints, and the support of issuer launches with priority.
5. Demonstrate knowledge as a subject matter expert to mentor others in the department. Display leadership role in executing special department initiatives. Lead the department to ensure processes/projects are well documented to meet auditing requirements.
6. Coordinate internal resources to resolve partner issues, inquiries, connections, and platforms, lines of business dependencies, processes and objectives
