Sales Executive – Payments
My client is the world’s largest global provider of banking and payments technologies.
Employing 40,000 people and possessing a respected global presence, they are leaders in payment processing and banking solutions, providing software, services and outsourcing of the technology that drives financial institutions.

They are currently looking for Sales Executives with Payments experience.
Job Summary
You will sell products and/or services to new clients within an established territory to ensure revenue growth in support of new business revenue goals.

Specific Requirements of the Role
This is a new role within the region and has been created to address the needs for new Payments customers in Europe. Initially working alongside the Sales Director and operating as a “hunter”, you will be required to develop your own territory plan, qualification of inbound and self-generated leads and winning contracts for Payment solutions. Target clients/prospects will include new challenger banks, Payments Institutions, Competitor clients and new entrants to European markets.
General Duties & Responsibilities
• Sell products and/or services and develops new account relationships
• Solicit and maintain network of prospects
• Initiate contact with prospective customers to sell targeted products and/or services
• Work as a member of a sales team to sell assigned products or services to identified key accounts
• Demonstrate product knowledge including various solutions, markets and competitive intelligence
• Prepare and present proposals to clients utilizing relevant resources and tools
• Negotiate, structure and close “deals” that meet customer expectations and company’s ability to deliver; utilize appropriate company resources per the resources plan to provide product marketing support or specialized product sales expertise
• Assist in the development of sales plans and strategies
• Meet sales goals and objectives
• Other related duties assigned as needed

Educational Requirements
Bachelor’s degree or the equivalent combination of education, training, or work experience.

General Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
• Thorough understanding of Payments market needs and challenges that typical clients are facing
• General knowledge of financial solutions technology including systems, applications and banking practices
• Expert negotiation and communication skills, both written and verbal
• Solid decision-making and problem solving skills
• Analytical skills are required to determine client business needs and requirements
• Ability to remain calm under pressure
• Ability to show established track record of developing and closing self-generated new business opportunities
•Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with all levels of management (internally/externally), employees, clients and public
• Extensive Travel likely to be required
