Job Summary

We are looking for a Results Driven "SUPERSTAR" Sales Consultant to be responsible for all sales activities from lead generation to account set up. The "SUPERSTAR" Consultant is expected to make 50 Cold Calls per week and Minimum of 6 Deals Signed Per Month. The successful candidate will meet or exceed company standards, achieve sales goals and consistently meet clients' expectations. Prior Medium/Large Scale roles preferred in the Energy Procurement - Merchant Services Area. This is a 1099 Commission ONLY Position , with Higher than Average Commission per Industry Standards. Reps are earning between $40,000 - $100,000.00 + Per Year.

Responsibilities and Duties

  • Responsible for identifying new opportunities within referral sources and following up within a timely manner
  • Focus on building a pipeline while juggling daily follow up calls and last minute tasks
  • Prior experience with cold calling and/or generating sales and leads in a corporate environment
  • Maintain relationships with referral partners and comfortable working with C level professionals
  • Responsible for working with merchants and industry partners in a variety of different fields
  • Ensure all client information is correct and up to date within the CRM database
  • Remain knowledgeable on products and services offered while staying up to date on current events within an evolving industry
  • Some travel may be required to acquire new leads and make productive contact with existing clients
  • Excel at negotiation and be a quick problem solver
  • Desire to exceed the industry average of sales goals on a consistent basis

Qualifications and Skills

  • Strong interpersonal skills and excellent written and oral communication
  • Prior Energy Sales preferred
  • Prior Credit Card Processing Sales preferred
  • Must be able to work independently to achieve sales goals
  • Proven history of being self-motivated with drive to excel
  • Coachable and willing to learn new methods and procedures
  • Ability to adapt to ongoing structural changes within a small/mid-sized company
  • Must be organized and have good time management skills
  • Must be team oriented and possess a professional demeanor in a corporate environment
  • PC literate with Microsoft Office Suite experience in Excel, Word, Power Point and Outlook
