Our client is a fast-growing payments company, who are keen to hire a Senior Business Developer to join their Issuing/BIN Sponsorship business line, to develop new business within a thriving area of payments.

The role will have a focus on all aspects of BIN Sponsorship within the group including ATM, Acquiring & Issuing
product lines, and will involve:

• Delivery against the target by focused selling & account management of existing partnerships
• Actively recruit new strategic partners through networking, thought leadership, relationship building and outreach activities.
• Build and drive revenue from new strategic partners & manage responses to RFP’s, RFQ’s and RFI’s
• Actively engage prospects making contact with us & all inbound prospects driven by marketing activity
• Build and maintain a robust sales pipeline and manage through pipeline CRM tools
• Maximising customer potential through understanding their business and analysing their commercial strategies
• Attend and represent the company at business events and exhibitions & keep apprised of changing market conditions, competitive landscape and new technologies
• Develop and present professional sales presentations and proposals relevant to each opportunity
• Close deals and finalise contracts, meet/exceed sales quotas and revenue goals
• Manage the post sales custom through great account management

About you:

• 5+ years as a sales professional with experience selling acquiring, issuing and/or payment services
• Ability to focus on both large and medium enterprise merchants and their supporting platforms.
• History of presenting to and negotiating with Executive-level decision makers
• Proven ability to understand the business and technical requirements of integration to a new payments platform.
• Extremely self-motivated, attention to detail and desire to deliver results
• Excellent written and oral communication, including formal presentation skills
• Working knowledge of common business software and CRM
• Ability to illustrate a proven track record of success
• Experience with legal agreements and redlining process during negotiations
• Ability to understand European regulatory frameworks, payment regulation and card scheme rules.
• Ability to understand technical concepts and API integrations.
