Our Hiring Manager says:

"We are looking for an ambitious, driven and experienced Senior Business Development Manager who can demonstrate previous sales success, and are interested in working for a fast growing dynamic organisation. The Corporate Sales Manager will report into the Head of UK Corporate Sales, you will be accountable for the development and execution of a sales strategy against a revenue target. Leads will be generated directly and via channel partners.”

What you will be doing:

Reporting into the Head of UK Corporate Business Development you will be accountable for the development and execution of a business development strategy against an annual revenue target. Leads will be generated directly and via channel partners. More specifically the requirements for the role include:

Sales Planning & Delivery
•Develop a comprehensive “go to market” strategy for a particular market vertical (Including but not limited to; Retail, Gaming, insurance and airlines)
•Generate significant revenue from multiple verticals across the UK market
•Build and maintain a successful sales pipeline
•Generate leads both directly and indirectly via channel partners working in conjunction with the channel management team
•Ensure all sales administration is up to date and accurate

Communication & Relationship Management
•Work closely with all key internal stakeholders to maximise business development opportunities including Marketing, Channel, Product and Corporate Account Management teams
•Contribute to targeted marketing campaigns
•Present to customers and at sector specific events

Innovation
•Provide accurate and timely market information on your selected market sector to help drive the future marketing and product strategies

Quality Orientation
•Take ownership of tender responses
•Demonstrate a high level of industry knowledge that differentiates you from your peers
•Any other responsibilities as required from time to time

What qualities you will bring:

Planning & Delivery
•Demonstrable experience in complex solutions sales with a strong attention to detail (Ideally within complex payments solutions or similar IT, Software, Software as a service sales would be considered)
•The ability to demonstrate a strong sales planning approach at both a sector and opportunity level

Quality Orientation
•The highest level of presentation and documentation skills
•A highly motivated and driven individual focused on achieving/exceeding his/her targets

Technical Expertise
•A minimum of 7 years consultative sales experience in the software as a service/ecommerce/ payments industry
•Sales experience in CNP, card processing or card related payments would be a distinct advantage

Leadership
•Desire to take on a leadership role once fully established at Realex
•Previous experience of managing a team is desirable
