A rapidly expanding and dynamic Digital Fintech Start-up in the digital authentication payments space is currently looking for a Director of Cloud Solution Architecture ( with a view to become Chief Technologist within a year) to help drive their business in the UK and beyond.

This role will involve extensive UK travel

Job Scope
Reporting to the Founder, you will be responsible for providing technical solutions to new & existing corporate customers.

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Fintech professional with strong core technical skills to join and add value to a dedicated and friendly team. You will be responsible for actively driving and managing the pre sales process and must be able to articulate the company’s technology and product portfolio, positioning to both business and technical users.

Primarily engaged in a presales technical and architecture consultancy role, you will provide technical assistance and guidance during the pre sales process by identifying customers technical and business requirements, prior to designing a solution, consulting with technical teams about capabilities, and supporting business sales teams.

Overall success will be achieved by working closely with clients, business partners, customers and partners in the market.
You will help close deals by providing technical expertise and attending key meetings.

Your key responsibilities will be to:
• Bring and drive thought leadership in areas of new technology and innovation
• Have experience in consulting customers and dissecting business and IT challenges
• Possess strong abilities working in a cross functional manner with various organizations
• Narrate what we can accomplish and develop strategies to meet those goals
• Exercise a curiosity to continually refresh knowledge to maintain industry leadership
• Operate in a three-tiered engagement architecture which includes demand capture, demand creation and professional services touch points
• Plan, execute, and communicate the results of the work required in defined consulting focused engagements
• Talk, translate and align our offering to the customer in their language and vernacular
• Travel to industry events and customer engagements

Qualifications & Experience
• 10+ years of Solutions selling and technical support experience in the high-tech industry preferably in the network, cloud and/or data centre markets
• Demonstrate strong listening and collaboration skill for uncovering unmet customer technology-based needs and translating the requirements into strategic solutions
• Ability to create refine and deliver a solutions vision through written and spoken narratives relative to the customer’s problems and opportunities
• Experience presenting to large groups
• High motivation level and appetite for fast-paced team environment; readily adaptable to changing market and organization requirements
• Results oriented
• Technology skills a must, including:
o Solutions Architecture
o Pre-Sales / Technical Sales
o Experience of SAML
o API knowledge
o XML experience
o Network and Data security
