Mercury Talent are delighted to be recruiting for a Strategic Sales /Account Manager within the payment and merchant services sector.

This role attracts a very lucrative salary with an uncapped commission structure, 31 days holiday including bank holidays, car allowance, private medical and pension.

The Strategic Sales Account Manager will home based within the UK and will require a self-motivated and determined approach to creating a strong pipeline to meet and exceed sales and revenue targets within the global payments and merchant services.

The role of Strategic Sales Development Account Manager

  • Create and carry out a target and strategic sales strategy to target merchants for payments and dynamic currency conversion to create fast business growth.
  • Working with Channel partners, banks ,card companies to strategically identify new Global and European Merchants to target with dynamic currency conversion and payments market
  • Generate pipeline of quality leads and goal companies
  • Responsible for revenue growth within the specific region and market of Luxury merchants / payment channel.
  • Demonstrates a flair for new business with a hunter mentality as well as understanding the culture and environment of working with luxury high end merchants and global payment companies and the corporate sector.
  • Work closely with head office and payments to make sure market penetration and growth plans are clearly defined.
  • Update and manage CRM which is Oracle system
  • Complete annual Sales Revenue budget
  • Can negotiate Pricing and Contract requirements with Merchant, banks or channel partners.

About You the Strategic Sales Development Account Manager

You will have a bachelor's degree or equivalent experience

Five years' experience in Merchant Services, payments or dynamic currency conversion. (DCC)

A proven sales record with the Corporate, luxury merchant, financial institution/ banking and payment sector.

Ability to travel within UK and Europe.

Experience within Credit Card payments is a distinct advantage
