Vice President, Marketing

The successful candidate will report directly to the CEO, lead a fast growing 25+ member marketing team, and have significant autonomy, authority, and accountability for our organizations success.

Responsibilities:
  • Lead a 20+ member marketing team and work to attract, develop, and retain top talent
  • Develop long-term marketing vision AND execute on near-term financial and customer commitments
  • Grow double-digit revenue YOY
  • Grow double-digit website traffic YOY
  • Grow double-digit SQLs YOY
  • Own the full customer acquisition funnel through transaction (online/offline); improve upon our established B2C/ecommerce marketing efforts and expand our growing B2B marketing and lead gen initiatives both domestically and internationally
    NOTE: Historically, our businesss marketing has been digitally focused where we now funnel HUGE online B2C traffic (1.5M users a month) to website transactions - necessitating an absolute expert in digital marketing and ecommerce (you'll otherwise be overwhelmed). Secondary but growing emphasis is towards an untapped B2B audience where direct marketing efforts will feed a seasoned 35+ member sales team.
  • Invest in and manage the technologies, systems, processes, and policies to consistently improve both effectiveness and efficiency of marketing
  • Optimize and streamline marketing processes for optimal results and maximum efficiency
Requirements:
  • 10+ years of hands-on modern marketing experience before growing to a leadership role, having had multiple marketing disciplines reporting to her/him
  • Strong leadership skills with experience developing and growing individuals and teams
  • Excellent B2C direct-to-consumer web marketing/eCommerce expertise and track record (AN ABSOLUTE REQUIREMENT)
  • Successful experience developing B2B markets, working with sizeable sales teams, and driving lead gen
  • Growth orientation and demonstrated ability to work with other functions, including sales, product, and IT to drive revenue
  • Hands-on, in-the-details, and an absolute expert with modern marketing technology tools
  • Entrepreneurial history with high-growth businesses
  • Possesses an innovative spirit with clear vision and demonstrated drive to execute fully
  • Capability of acquiring and analyzing complex statistical data to measure, drive decisions, and improve the performance of marketing activities
  • Ability to be decisive even when confronted with limited information and to adapt quickly in a dynamic market environment
  • Willing to get sleeves rolled up and hands dirty
  • Ability to direct all aspects of a campaign or project (strategy, tactics, creative, copy, delivery, reporting, etc.)
  • Outstanding communication skills and command of the English language (spoken and written)
  • Healthcare background/experience a huge plus
