Account Manager - Travel & Airlines 

£65-75k basic + excellent bonus & benefits, OTE £100k+ 
London + flexible working, some travel 

Our client is a leading, well known global fin-tech with a fantastic reputation and exceptional product set. At the forefront of the digital banking & payments revolution, they add value to their customers payments options and are continuing to develop and grow the business across sectors and geographies. As part of the continued growth effort, we are keen to hire an Account Manager - Travel to strategically manage & develop a high value portfolio within the travel & airlines space. 

It is important that you work well across al internal departments, and are able to influence in every direction!

The role has a wide remit and will cover the following:

  • own and develop the account planning function, being the main point of contact between us & our customers
  • develop portfolio value by up selling and cross selling where appropriate
  • drive volume through the portfolio by activating relationships and evangelising about our product set 
  • build strategic relationships with customers & meet with them remotely, face to face and at industry events where appropriate 
  • consult with your customers and ensure we, as a business, are delivering what they need to help them grow
  • negotiate and execute new business campaigns, understand pricing & contracts, and work closely with marketing teams to get your message across

  • You will be working within the Payments and the Travel/Airlines industry 
  • You are likely to have 5+ years experience in the sector
  • It's great if you're a graduate but not essential
  • Confident, analytical, honest, ethical - build long lasting relationships and the right things happen!
  • You have an analytical mind and are able to discuss and negotiate pricing models with major customers
