Channel Sales Director - Payments / Acquiring 
Location: London & flexible working / work from home 
Type: Permanent
Salary: £85-100k base, 100% OTE 
 
Our client is an exciting high-growth player in the payments sector, with a newly established London office which is now ready to grow. We are currently hiring for a channel/partnership sales director to help us achieve challenging sales and growth targets. This is a hands on sales/business development position, so you will need to be a confident sales person in the sector, with a track record of success related to card acquiring / online acceptance deals, working closely with other PSP's, ISO's and payments companies to boost our volumes. 
 
The role will involve:

  • You will create a target list of relevant companies, and manage your activities to create a pipeline of sales opportunities within customer accounts, focused specifically on channel/partnership contracts which will boost our total volumes, whilst managing risk & margin
  • Meet with customers & target/prospect customers regularly, building up a picture of their requirements & selling consultatively, creating a pipeline risk of high, medium and low risk target business
  • Convert prospects to customers and ensure they are on-boarded correctly, working closely with internal teams
  • Present & evangelise to prospects & build long term, collaborative networks in the sector

 About you: 

  • You're a highly motivated & hungry sales professional, driven by personal & customer success
  • You have a minimum of 5+ years payments sales experience (PSP/Acquiring) and experience of negotiating partner/channel contracts with other players in the sector 
  • Have a consultative sales technique with the ability to close new logo business
  • Confident, intelligent and motivated to develop within a high-pace, high growth payments brand
  • Able to hire, grow and develop a team of channel sales professionals to support and deliver company targets
