Chief Revenue Officer – Payments

Our client is a pioneering Payments company with ambitious growth plans. As part of their exciting evolution, they are seeking an innovative, hands on and skilled CRO to help them double down on  their commercial objectives

Day to day you will :

●     Have full control of the sales process and marketing activities with responsibility for the business revenue forecast and generation

●     Refine the current sales strategy and its execution

●     Be accountable for the lead generation, progress of opportunities and their signature

●     Lead the team responsible for full account management, including retention & upselling, of existing accounts

●     Develop and implement strategic marketing plans that align with the company’s business objectives and target market audiences

●     Lead the creation of compelling marketing content for sales campaigns, PR and digital channels

●     Report progress to the board and be accountable for delivering on the forecast you set

●     Ensure the sales team have all the training and tools required to succeed in their goals

To be successful in this role, you will possess:

●      Minimum 10 years’ experience in technology sales/ payments

●     A proven track record in establishing and growing revenue generation within payments

●     An understanding of complex sales processes and how to navigate through multiple decision makers and influencers to arrive at a successful outcome

●     An attitude that builds long term win/win relationships.

●     Experience building a sales strategy from scratch and presenting it to a board of Directors

●     An  understanding of both traditional and digital marketing tools and techniques, and experience of creating successful marketing strategies

●     A track record setting realistic targets for which you will be fully accountable.

●     An understanding of  the benefits and drawbacks of following a rigorous sales process

●     Outstanding communication skills
