Event Specialist  

Remote (UK/Ireland)

Our client runs the most prestigious and high profile awards in Financial Services and we

are looking for an Event specialist  to join their busy team.

This is a full-time, remote role where you will be responsible for the planning, coordination, and execution of events related to the Awards. You will work closely with clients, internal and external stakeholders to ensure seamless event delivery. In addition, you will support sales initiatives and provide exceptional customer service throughout the process.

Day to day you will :

• Plan, organize, and execute elements of the event ensuring they run smoothly from start to finish
• Communicate with clients and stakeholders, addressing their needs and meeting expectations
• Oversee event management activities, ensuring attention to detail and meeting deadlines
• Assist with sales initiatives by helping to identify new opportunities and supporting the client relationship management
• Manage customer service tasks, responding to inquiries and providing support
• Work closely with internal teams and external partners to ensure seamless event execution
• Track and report on event performance, gathering feedback for continuous improvement

To be successful in this role, you will need to demonstrate :

• Proven experience in Event Planning and Event Management
• Strong communication and customer service skills
• Previous experience in Sales and client relationship management
• Highly organized with strong multitasking abilities
• Ability to work independently and manage remote tasks efficiently
• Knowledge or background in the payments or financial industry is a plus

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in the card payments or financial services industry
• Familiarity with virtual and hybrid event formats
