As a IT Helpdesk Engineer, the focus of this role is to undertake IT helpdesk activities for the bank.

About You:  

The ideal candidate will demonstrate solid technical capabilities and aptitude to learn. Experience and passion of working in an agile, innovative and fast paced environment is key to this role.

IT helpdesk support including desktop/device management, server support, identity and access management, service monitoring and reporting.

Skills and Experience:

·        Previous experience of working within an IT Operations Helpdesk, Network Operations Center, Security Operations Center or similar

·        Windows 10, MS Office applications (Office 365), Network printing, Active Directory

·        Windows Server administration experience desirable

·        Cloud platform management experience desirable (E.g. MS Azure administration)

·        Self-starter who has a passion to continuously develop technical skills

·        Solid communication skills

This role provides first line support to a business that operates 7AM to 7PM Monday to Friday and will require some flexibility to start early or work late, to cover these hours on a rota basis.

The role will also include some out of hours activity to support planned business change and occasional travel to other offices to provide cover and/or for training.

The IT Operations team operates an out of hours on-call support rota for which an additional allowance is available.

In addition to the technical skills, we are looking for motivated team players who are delivery focused and can suggest solutions as to how things can be done better. We are always looking to improve and do things differently. It is important that you have this mind-set too.
