Our client is a global successful business offering software solutions and focus on payment services. They are looking for experienced Partner Manager to join the team on a remote basis. Your duties will include leading the partner channel and expanding new partners. The role will require you to have a strong entrepreneurial mindset, ability to create strategic relationships and develop a sound knowledge of the acquiring and payment gateway industries. 

 The job:

  • Define and manage the strategy for the partnerships channel
  • Initiate and develop commercial relationships with a variety of partners
  • Lead the negotiation process on commercial partnership models, reviewing agreements/contracts and communication with legal teams. 
  • Presenting to management payment trends & new opportunities with a view to developing new services & products
  • Collaborating with the product team on new integrations, developments and features

 The requirements:

  • Previous experience of being a partner manager or channel manager 
  • Merchant acquiring or payment gateway knowledge preferred but not essential (applicants should have an overall background / knowledge of the payments industry) 
  • Strong communication skills, in both verbal and written form
  • Interested in payments and the merchant acquiring world
  • Appreciation of regulatory environment involving payments a real plus 
  • A passion for delivering high quality customer experience
  • Proven track record of achieving  quarterly/annual targets/KPI’s
