Location: West & Central London

Salary: £80,000 - £90,000 Per Annum (+ excellent benefits & bonus)

Our client is a leading payments focused IT & software consultancy, based in London. We are actively hiring for a Payment Business Analyst, to work onsite with our clients to help them identify and define their business aims, as well as helping lead the delivery and completion of the solution. The role requires someone with a passion for the detail, an understanding of governance, experience in payments or system integration, and the ability to frame and deliver a compelling solution roadmap.

The role:

  • Clarifying business priorities, roles and responsibilities and securing individual and team ownership
  • Establishing effective working relationships with client stakeholders and users
  • Collecting, understanding, and communicating the business requirements for the project, translating these into functional specifications and detailed test analysis that can be used by the solution development teams
  • Communicate with the client’s subject matter experts and system users to identify business needs
  • Analyse and solve problems with integrated technology system software; determining and communicating the need for technical analysis
  • Representing us professionally in customer engagements, using excellent interpersonal skills to develop and realise further opportunities for the company
  • Supporting pre-sales proposals and propositions in the form of client meetings, approach and estimation for solutions

Your skills and experience will include:

  • With background experience in payments or enterprise-scale software engineering projects, you will be tenacious about doing things the right way and building efficient and ‘brilliantly simple’ business solutions. You will also be adept at working in customer-facing roles and helping clients to capitalise on technology for their commercial benefit.
  • Working knowledge of Payment Schemes (BACS, CHAPS, SEPA, FPS, SWIFT)
  • Proven experience of payment or software delivery projects
  • Experience of stakeholder engagement & relationship management

In addition to the above, the following background experience would be highly beneficial:

  • Consultancy/ customer facing experiences within a software vendor or enterprise-scale services environment
  • Financial Services domain knowledge with practical experience of mobilising technology to meet the market dynamics affecting the financial services domain (Risk / Cost / Customer)
  • Pre-sales experience and comfortable engaging with clients to demonstrate the capability and understand requirements
