Our client is a leading global travel/airline brand, with an exceptional reputation and one of the highest profile names in the industry. The global payments team within the business is a key function, managing payments across the company internationally, and are currently going through a period of transformation & change as they ensure they have a consistently class-leading product set, managing risk, revenue and customer experience.

We are now seeking a Senior Payments Intelligence Lead as we grow our payments function through a change & transformation programme. This role is all about ensuring that the payments team have the data & intelligence they need to monitor costs, revenue & ensure the team are making the correct decisions. With a good knowledge of payments KPI's and data, you will be able to manage risk, revenue and controls and really add value to defining the company payments strategy.

About the role:

  • develop & evaluate new payment methods & partners, innovations and technology
  • support and deliver key internal projects and provide key input which can help shape strategy
  • driving delivery of a fully informed payment dashboard, and key payment metrics
  • work closely with finance to drill down into payment/transaction costs
  • working closely with data analytics and global finance functions

About you:

  • depth of knowledge around payments, card processing and data analysis
  • experience from a merchant, bank or payments company with exposure to Interchange++
  • good understanding of payment settlement & reconciliation processes
  • self-starter, ambitious, highly driven and motivated
  • knowledge of card schemes, rules and PSD2
